Online Lesson Booking System
All clients will need to initially take the following easy steps to register which takes less than 3 minutes:

‘Register’ by completing your account details
‘Verify Your Email’ by clicking the automated link sent to you by email (check your spam if not received instantly)
‘Login’ with your email & password details
‘Add Riders To Your Account’ by following the instructions to click on the link to rider registration
‘Rider Registration’ to be completed with up-to-date details of rider
‘Submit’ your rider registration details by clicking the submit button
‘Add Riders’ if more than one individual under the same account for payment/guardian purposes
We provide riding lessons for young or old as long as you are over 4 years of age.
Rider fitness is crucial for a safe and enjoyable experience. Balance, flexibility, core strength and stamina are essential. Hand in hand with rider fitness, rider weight limits may apply depending on horse capacity. The welfare of the horse is our primary concern when setting rider weight limits. Excessive rider weight can cause musculoskeletal strain, soreness, lameness, and long-term health issues for horses. Therefore, setting responsible weight limits our horses can carry is both an ethical and practical necessity.
Our riding instructors offer the highest standards and are approved by The British Horse Society and The Association of British Riding Schools.
For adults, and children of 4 years or older, we start with half-hour beginner riding lessons on a one-to-one basis with an instructor. Once the client reaches a standard to start riding in groups, they can then join group lessons
Group lessons are sorted by ability according to our Grading system.
Please note according to GDPR and Child Safeguarding rules, the videoing of group lessons is strictly prohibited.
We aim where feasible to have sole use of the arenas for lessons however this cannot always be guaranteed.
Our horses and ponies are well trained and we don’t put you on one that is too big for you. You will ride different horses as this helps you learn faster.
Snowball has its own riding grades which riders work towards.
To start off you will need leggings or something without a seam so that your legs are not rubbed – beware, jeans can rub badly. Footwear should have a small heel. Most trainers and some Wellington boots have a flat sole and are therefore not suitable. We insist that all riders wear current British safety standard riding hats. We can hire you a hat if required. If your hair is longer than shoulder length, you should make sure it is tied back securely.
