Our Own a Pony Days are very popular so book early!
Ever wondered what it’s like to have a pony of your very own? Our Own a Pony Days give children aged aged 5 and above, the opportunity to experience just that!
Join our team of friendly, qualified instructors for a fun-filled day of riding, learning and pony care. You will ride in small groups of up to eight riders, ensuring plenty of individual attention and a fantastic experience.
Book early and, where possible, you can choose your favourite Snowball Farm pony. Alternatively, let our experienced team match you with a pony suited to your riding ability and personality – we’re sure you’ll make a new four-legged friend!
Spend the Day Caring for Your Pony
Your pony will be your responsibility for the day. You’ll learn how to:
- Groom and prepare your pony.
- Tack up with guidance from our team.
- Feed your pony at lunchtime.
- Learn stable management skills and how to care for your pony.
A Full Day of Riding Fun
As well as caring for your pony, you’ll enjoy a variety of exciting mounted activities, including:
- Riding lessons with our qualified instructors.
- Mounted games.
- Group riding with others of a similar ability.
Every Own a Pony Day is designed to help riders build confidence, improve their skills and create lasting memories in a safe, supportive environment.
What You Need to Know
Our Own a Pony Days take place during the school holidays.
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Please bring:
- A packed lunch.
- Suitable riding clothing.
We can provide riding hats and boots if required.
For Parents
Your child’s safety and enjoyment are our highest priorities. They will be supervised throughout the day by our experienced, qualified team, all of whom are first aid trained, so you can be confident they are in safe hands.
