About Snowball Farm
Snowball Farm was first shown on the ordnance survey map in 1843 when it was owned by George Snowball.
The Western-Kaye family bought Snowball Farm in 1949 building up a herd of Ayreshire cows, pigs and chickens. Sheila Western-Kaye took over the reins in 1969 and in 1975 started the Riding School and Livery Yard. The Farm is still run by the Western-Kay family to this day.
We are a friendly, family-run, BHS and ABRS approved riding school and livery yard, catering for all ages and levels of riding experience, from complete beginners to experienced competition riders.
Set in 130 acres of beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre specialises in Riding Lessons and Livery Services and offers a full calendar of shows and events.
Located close to Burnham Beeches, we are just a few minutes drive from the M40 and M4, a short distance from Windsor and Maidenhead – and only 30 minutes from central London.
Some of our Riding School activities include Own a Pony Days, Summer Camps and Client competitions.

We offer Full and Part Livery Services. Liveries based at Snowball Farm enjoy a great range of facilities, have access to our qualified instructors for training and advice, and can compete ‘at home’. There are plenty of local bridleways and tracks on private land just a few steps from the Farm gates.
Our Show Calendar offers a wide variety of competitions. Approved for British Dressage and British Showjumping, we also offer BD Quest Club and BS Club Jumping, Unaffiliated Dressage and Showjumping, as well as Eventers Challenge and One Day Events.
