At Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre, we believe that spending time with horses is about so much more than weekly riding lessons. Whether you’re one of our riding school clients or a livery owner, we offer a wide range of activities, training opportunities and events designed to help you develop your skills, build confidence and enjoy every aspect of horse ownership and horsemanship.
We offer far more than horse riding lessons. As a BHS and ABRS approved Riding School in Buckinghamshire, we provide a wide range of equestrian activities for our riding school clients, both children and adults as well as our liveries, throughout the year.
Whether you’re taking your very first riding lesson, working towards competitions, or simply looking to spend more time with horses, you’ll find something to enjoy at Snowball Farm.
Holiday Camps & Own a Pony Day’s
Our Summer Camps run in July and August and are exceptionally popular. You will camp overnight, ride every day (flat, jump, hacking and games) on a horse allocated to you for the camp and compete at our end of camp riding show. On the final day of camp, your parents will be invited to watch and enjoy some refreshments with us.
Our ever popular Own a Pony Day’s allow our clients the opportunity to experience owning your own pony for the day! Participants ride, groom, tack up, care for their pony and take part in games, lessons and lectures, while making new friends.
BHS Pony Stars
Perfect for younger riders, Pony Stars combines horse care and practical activities with exciting badges, certificates and rewards, helping children develop confidence, responsibility and a lifelong love of horses.
BHS Challenge Awards
Develop your horse care and riding knowledge through nationally recognised British Horse Society Challenge Awards. Suitable for complete beginners through to experienced riders, these awards provide structured progression with expert guidance from our qualified coaches.
Stable Management Courses
Learn the practical skills that every horse owner should know, including grooming, tacking up, feeding, horse behaviour, safe handling and stable management. These hands-on sessions are ideal for anyone wanting to increase their knowledge and confidence around horses.
Client Competitions
Throughout the year we organise friendly show jumping and dressage competitions using our riding school ponies, giving riders the opportunity to gain competition experience in a supportive environment. We also host clinics and educational talks.
Professional Pony Photoshoots
Capture unforgettable memories with your favourite riding school pony through our exclusive professional photography sessions. A perfect keepsake for riders of all ages.
